The appointment, the firm said in a statement, both enhances its expertise and signifies the continued evolution of its taxation services.
Mr Abraham’s “ability to demystify complex tax issues and provide tailored solutions has already earned him a reputation as an invaluable asset within the team and among clients”, PCL proclaimed.
He has also served as a solicitor at the State Revenue Office in Victoria and as a senior associate at Pointon Partners.
The firm has also appointed lawyers Jessica Ho and Chelsea King to its litigation and family law teams, respectively.
The news follows the firm’s promotion of eight lawyers to more senior roles, including four to partner, in late June, as well as its opening of a Brisbane office earlier that month.
Speaking about the hire, PCL Lawyers managing partner Glenn Duker said: “We are excited to welcome Thomas to the PCL Lawyers family.
“His wealth of experience in state taxation adds an exciting dimension to our capabilities, allowing us to expand our service offerings for our clients.”
