Cyber Daily marked a milestone in 2023 by hosting the highly successful Australian Cyber Security Awards for the first time.
The unparalleled awards program has returned for its second year to identify the top businesses and professionals who have worked tirelessly to safeguard organisations against growing cyber security threats.
As cyber security threats increase and change drastically in an increasingly online environment, the awards ceremony will showcase the depth of talent in Australia’s cyber security community while affirming the sector’s essential role in protecting organisations and the Commonwealth against cyber criminal activity.
With the role of cyber security professionals becoming integral to ensuring economic prosperity in Australia, it has never been more important to provide national recognition to professionals and businesses that endeavour to defend organisations against lurking threats.
Finalist submissions will now be delivered to a judging panel of respected professionals and business leaders who will assess each submission against the criteria of each award category.
The judges will score each part of the submission across the category’s criteria to reach an aggregated score. Several judges will individually assess each submission for each category, offering a blended score and assessment.
The combined judging scores for each submission for each category are tabulated, with the highest-scoring submission deemed the winner.
Winners will be revealed at the black-tie gala ceremony on Thursday, 20 June 2024, at the National Convention Centre, Canberra. Click here to buy tickets.
Members of the cyber security industry will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders while celebrating their achievements.
“The calibre of our finalists this year is evidence of the skill and dedication of the Australian cyber security sector as a whole,” said Cyber Daily senior journalist David Hollingworth.
“We’re very excited to recognise every one of these individuals for the work they do keeping their organisations, and Australia more widely, safe from a raft of threat actors. I wish every entrant the best of luck on the night!”
