Highly experienced mergers and acquisitions partner Tim Gordon will join Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

Currently, Gordon is an executive partner at Gilbert + Tobin and heads up the firm’s corporate advisory group.

Commenting on the appointment, Corrs senior partner and CEO Gavin MacLaren said Gordon is “very well respected in the market for his strategic, commercial and pragmatic approach”.

“He has significant experience in M&A, capital raising, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and regulatory investigations.

“Tim’s appointment adds further depth to our M&A and PE offering, and we are delighted to welcome him to the Corrs partnership,” MacLaren said.

Gordon will focus on complex M&A transactions for listed companies and Australian and international private equity funds.

He will also specialise in private equity funds, sovereign funds, multi-platform alternative asset managers, and superannuation funds.
