Clayton Utz has appointed seven new partners across several key practice areas of the BigLaw firm, effective 1 January 2026.

The newly appointed partners include Kimberley Bruce, Roxana Carrion, Amy Carseldine, Megan Duane, Will Golinelli, JK Muckersie and Jessica Wacker.

These appointments span three of the firm’s offices across Australia, with new partners based in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Speaking on the firm’s promotions, Clayton Utz Chief Executive Partner Emma Covacevich shared how the new appointments recognise both the technical excellence of the lawyers and the depth of expertise across the firm.

"These promotions reflect the dedication and technical knowledge of these outstanding lawyers,” Covacevich stated.

“The specialised cross-sector expertise these lawyers bring – from litigation and class actions, to corporate M&A and native title – is a demonstration of the breadth of experience in our partnership.

"I congratulate Kimberley, Roxana, Amy, Megan, Will, JK and Jessica on this exciting step in their careers. It's a pleasure to welcome them to the partnership."

This news comes after the firm named five new partners across key practical areas in mid-September, promoted 10 to special counsel and 10 to senior associate at the start of July and added a corporate and commercial partner from Mills Oakley in June.
