National law firm HWL Ebsworth has appointed three new partners and elevated 65 staff members throughout the firm’s national network.
HWL Ebsworth has named three new partners, 15 new special counsel, 28 new senior associates, 14 associates, and eight new support staff and business services team members.
The newly appointed partners for the national law firm include Melissa Ferreira (litigation, Perth), James Attenborough (health, Brisbane), and Brendon Denkha (insurance, statutory classes, Perth).
The inclusion of these new lawyers into the partnership team elevates the total number of partners at HWL Ebsworth to 286, spanning across its nine locations nationwide.
Speaking on the firm’s latest round of promotions, Russell Mailler, chief executive partner at HWL Ebsworth, congratulated all team members on their achievements, noting that the promotions mark an exciting new phase of growth for the firm.

This news follows the firm’s appointment of six new partners, 15 new special counsel, 20 new senior associates, 52 associates, and nine new support staff and business services team members in the middle of 2025.
