DWF has revealed 40 senior-level elevations as part of its latest annual promotion round, bringing the total number of employees recognised across the organisation this May to 263.

Within this promotion round, 18 of the firm’s existing partners have advanced further up the partnership structure, strengthening leadership across its commercial and insurance services teams.

Matt Dudakov was the only existing partner in Australia included in this promotion round, based in the firm’s Brisbane office.

The global integrated legal and business services provider has also promoted 22 lawyers to partner or partner-equivalent roles across its commercial and insurance services teams.

Seven Australians make up the new class of partners: Chris Forder (insurance services, Melbourne), Hilary Lee (insurance services, Sydney), Holly Turner (insurance services, Sydney), John Dillon (insurance services, Sydney), Luke Gollan (insurance services, Brisbane), Marissa Skaltsounis (insurance services, Sydney), and Shauntelle Jayamanne (insurance services, Melbourne).

Across this latest round of promotions, DWF’s appointments span seven countries – England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, France, Poland, Canada, and Australia.

This news follows DWF promoting five to principal lawyer, two to special counsel, three senior associates, and one associate at the start of February.

Matthew Doughty, group CEO of DWF, expressed that these promotions reflect standout talent, professionalism, and leadership across the business, pointing to a deep commitment to clients and signalling DWF’s confidence in its continued strength and future growth.

“We are proud to announce this year’s promotions, which recognise the talent, professionalism and leadership demonstrated by our colleagues across the business,” Doughty said.

These achievements reflect their dedication and continued focus on delivering for our clients. They also highlight the strength of our business and our confidence in the opportunities ahead for DWF.

“Congratulations to everyone who has been promoted,” Doughty said.
