Movers & Shakers: Doug Jones, London Court of International Arbitration
Doug Jones AM, the national head of Clayton Utz's international arbitration practice, was appointed by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) board of directors to the LCIA Court in May this year.

"It is a great honour to be appointed … and I am extremely humbled by the board's decision," Jones told Lawyers Weekly.

"I believe the appointment of an Australian arbitrator to the Court will help position Australia as a global leader and centre for international arbitration."

Jones will serve a five-year term on the Court, which comprises up to 35 members from the major trading areas of the world, selected to provide and maintain a balance of leading practitioners in commercial arbitration.
