WEST AUSTRALIAN firm Mallon & Co Intellectual Property Lawyers has added Nyssa Cherry to their team as a solicitor.
Working for just over a year as a solicitor in corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and mining and resources for Atanaskovic Hartnell in Sydney, Cherry left with some of the deserting partners to establish Chang, Pistilli & Simmons in July 2006. She remained a solicitor with the corporate boutique firm until her move to Perth later in the year.
Previously, Cherry had served for two years as a solicitor in the corporate advisory and intellectual property law division of Clayton Utz in Perth, beginning in March 2003.
She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2005, following her admission to the Supreme Court of WA, High Court of Australia and Federal Court of Australia in 2004.
Mallon & Co, which specialises in technology and intellectual property law, said Cherry “has a wide range of first tier corporate and commercial experience and will be a valuable asset to the firm”.
