Independent Queensland firm MacDonnells Law announced the following appointments. As partner, Linda Morris, in the firm's planning and environment team. Morris has been a consultant with the firm since January 2003, practising exclusively in planning, local government and environment law. Also as partner, Andrew Kerr, in the government team, practising exclusively in native title and indigenous law. He acts as a senior case manager with the National Native Title Tribunal.

 
 

As senior associates, the following: Joanne Lillywhite, (commercial), focussed on commercial and retail leasing, liquor licensing, commercial property transactions and business sales and purchases. Louise Sloan, (commercial property and hospitality) specialising in liquor licensing and gaming compliance. Melinda Stanley(litigation), focused on insolvency and debt recovery. Rosaline Miller(litigation), practising predominantly in personal injuries litigation.

As associates, Catherine Ross (family law) and Stephanie Sanders (commercial) were also appointed.
