Harrington Family Lawyers has appointed Stephen Page as a partner and Bruce Provan as an associate. Page has been an accredited family law specialist since 1996 and Provan since 1999. The firm is one of Brisbane’s oldest boutique family law firms and deals with all aspects of family law, including property settlement, divorce, children’s issues, child support, cohabitation agreements and domestic violence.

 
 

Carter Newell has appointed Annette Clark to the position of senior associate. The firm said Clark brings a wealth of experience to the Carter Newell insurance practice. She has extensive expertise in public liability, personal injury, property damage and product liability claims with a focus on policy interpretation, dual insurance and indemnity issues. The firm has also appointed two associates. Amy Gill is a key member of the insurance team. She has substantial experience in conducting the defence of a wide range of personal injury claims from CTP and public liability claims to WorkCover claims, product liability and professional indemnity claims. Eliana Breinl specialises in professional indemnity and public liability insurance. In this role she advises on insurance policy issues and undertakes investigations including the analysis of liability and quantum aspects of cases.

MacGillivrays Solicitors has appointed Anthony Williams as an associate. Williams is part of the dispute resolution and litigation department at MacGillivrays. He specialises in insolvency, construction litigation and regularly advises lenders on the enforcement of their securities.

Philip Heuzenroeder has been appointed as a principal of Spruson&Ferguson Lawyers in its commercialisation team. Heuzenroeder has spent more than 10 years in private practice and as an in-house counsel and commercial manager. He provides practical specialist intellectual property and information technology advice, as well as more general commercial advice, to participants in research and technology based industries.
