Lisa Rennie has been appointed managing partner of the new partnership, Trilby Misso Legal Solutions Browns Plains. Rennie will manage the new general practice focusing mainly on the areas of property and business, wills and estates, family law and personal injuries law.

John Chrisman has joined international law firm Coudert Brothers LLP. He was formerly head of Jones Days mergers & acquisitions and capital markets practices in the Asia-Pacific region. Chrisman will join the firm first in Hong Kong, before transferring to the Sydney office at year’s end.

 
 

Maurice Blackburn Cashman has appointed Anna Walsh, Rebecca Gilsenan and Jason Geisker as senior associates in its Sydney office. The firm has also appointed Laura Neil (WorkCover injuries) as an associate in Brisbane, and Danny Frigerio as an associate in its WorkCover department, Sunshine office, Melbourne.

Paul Agnew has recently been appointed by McKays Solicitors as a partner to head up the mortgages and securities division in the firm’s Brisbane office. He specialises in banking and finance law, backed up by extensive experience in litigation, property and commercial law. Agnew has worked as a solicitor for a multinational firm in London and as a senior associate for a national firm in Australia.
