NSW barrister and arbitrator Derek Minus has been elected as the president of the Australian branch of The Australian branch of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Minus is a fellow of the institute, dual-qualified in arbitration and mediation.

"Hybrid processes are the next horizon in dispute resolution schemes internationally," he said.
