ACT Bar elevates 2 to senior counsel

Moujalli was called to the Bar in 2007 and has represented clients across a broad range of areas, including commercial, equity and trusts, wills and estates, building and construction, professional liability, professional discipline and corporations.

He has appeared in the Federal, ACT and NSW courts and tribunals, both in first instance and in appellate matters, has served as a part-time member of NCAT, and is an adjunct lecturer with the College of Law.

Moujalli served as one of the inaugural members of the disciplinary committee when it was established in 2024, has mentored junior lawyers, presented seminars on legal practice and ethics, and has provided legal representation on a pro bono basis.

Called to the Bar in 2012, Woulfe has become one of Australia’s leading Commonwealth compensation barristers.

Woulfe practises in a wide variety of public law areas, including constitutional and administrative law, civil appeals, professional liability, medical negligence, workers compensation, and employment, work health and safety (WHS).

He has held a range of leadership roles, including currently as chair of the Law Council of Australia’s Federal Dispute Resolution Section, Administrative Review Tribunal Liaison Committee and Commonwealth Compensation and Employment Law Committee.

Woulfe has previously chaired the Federal Administrative Law Reform Working Group, served on the ACT Bar Council from 2014 to 2021, and is currently co-chair of the Bar’s Public Law Committee. He was also recently re-elected to the Bar Council.
