Langes has recruited Patrick Dwyer, the former general counsel, home lending, of GE Money, to the firm as a partner.

 
 

Dwyer, who is based in the firm's Sydney office, advises on a wide range of corporate and financial law matters, including M&A, finance and investments, commercial agreements, regulatory, compliance and financial products.

He specialises in the finance and insurance sectors, acting for banks, insurers, credit unions, finance companies, trustees, franchises, brokers and other intermediaries.

Prior to joining Langes, Dwyer was at GE Money for six years in the roles of senior corporate counsel, and general counsel, home lending. He also previously worked for Coudert Brothers and Baker & McKenzie.
