Freehills has snapped up environment and planning specialist Peter Briggs from Clayton Utz.

Briggs joins Freehills Sydney office as a partner. His expertise spans all aspects of environment and planning law, property transactions, environmental due diligence, compliance strategy and environmental prosecution and litigation.

He has also advised senior management and boards of major corporate clients on complex and high-risk issues raised by environment and planning law.
