International firm Jones Day has recruited former Freehills partner Philip Hoser to its Sydney office.

Hoser is a restructuring and insolvency litigation specialist and he joins Jones Day as a partner.

At Freehills he headed up the firm's restructuring and insolvency practice and prior to that practised as a barrister in London.
