Guy joins the DLA Phillips Fox from its alliance firm DLA Piper, where he is a partner, in the UK. He will be based in the firm's Brisbane office, but his role will include projects across Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the Asia-Pacific Region, working closely with DLA Piper Asia. He is already leading a combined DLA Piper/DLA Phillips Fox international team advising the New Zealand Treasury's National Infrastructure Unit on potential PPP models for use in NZ.

Guy has 14 years experience specialising in large-scale PPPs and other infrastructure projects, with particular expertise in the development of rail projects. He advised in PPPs for the London Underground, the Nottingham Express Transit System, the Luas Light Rail in Dublin and the Docklands Light Rail system in London.

He has also advised on defence, education, social housing, IT and health sector PPPs, for clients including government authorities, civil contractors, operators and funders.
