Gilbert + Tobin has strengthened its corporate transactions practice with the addition of four lawyers including Benjamin Downie, Rachel Bassil, Michael Lyon and Ben Fuller.

Leaving Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Downie and Bassil will join the firm's banking and finance team and corporate advisory practice, respectively.

From UK firm, Pinsent Masons, Lyon will join the firm's real estate and projects group along with former Clayton Utz lawyer, Ben Fuller.
