Securitisation lawyer Andrew Jinks has joined Clayton Utz as partner, leaving Allens Arthur Robinson where he spent 13 years as partner.
With 20 years' experience and expertise in international and domestic securitisation and capital markets transactions, Jinks has advised many of Australia's leading financial institutions on their securitisation programs, including Westpac and St. George Bank.
Jinks' appointment comes as Australia's securitisation market shows signs of a resurgence, with credit markets stabilising and economic confidence returning to pre-GFC levels.
"As a firm, we have been very focused over the last few months on strategically reviewing our practice strengths and resourcing needs to ensure that our legal services offering reflects our clients' needs," said chief executive partner David Fagan.
