Enhancing its property, planning and construction team, Hall & Wilcox has appointed former Gadens Lawyers, Natalie Bannister and John O'Kane, as partners. The firm also appointed lawyer Alex Lata to the team.
The expansion of the team follows the recent hire of a full occupational health and safety team in August 2009.
Bannister specialises in environmental and planning law with a focus on resources. She primarily acts for property developers and large corporate clients and in 2003 was awarded the inaugural Victorian Women's Lawyer Achievement Award.
O'Kane's primary area of expertise is front and back end construction with a focus on large-scale developments. He has a particular interest in health-related developments and has acted for several hospitals and aged care property developers.
Discussing the firm's recent expansion, managing partner Tony Macvean said: "Hall & Wilcox is still in the market for high quality strategic lateral hires as we look to grow and further extend our service offering to clients."
