Commercial and securities specialist Kara Daly has returned to Minter Ellison Rudd Watts (MERW) in the firm's banking and financial services practice as special counsel.

Daly returns to MERW, where she was formerly a partner, from Wellington-based boutique firm Morrison Daly.

She has over 25 years' experience providing specialist securities and financial law advice to clients in New Zealand, with expertise spanning the breadth of corporate, commercial, finance and securities law.

Daly was previously a senior in-house counsel with Telecom New Zealand and a consultant at Chapman Tripp.
