TressCox Lawyers has today (5 October) announced the appointment of litigator Alex Moriarty to the firm's partnership.

 
 

Moriarty joins the firm's Brisbane office with extensive expertise in commercial litigation and insolvency as well as expertise in negotiating and documenting commercial transactions and advising directors on corporate governance matters.

Previously at Tucker & Cowen, Moriarty has also spent time at Fisher & Jeffries in Adelaide, Clayton Utz in Sydney, the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department in Canberra and the National Native Title Tribunal in Brisbane.

Moriarty will work closely with the firm's Brisbane commercial, construction and energy and resources team, led by Leo Hopsick.
