Workplace safety expert Siobhan Flores-Walsh will bring clients such as John Holland with her to a new appointment at Norton Rose.

Flores-Walsh has joined the firm as a special counsel in the occupational, health, safety and security (OHSS) practice, coming from Australian Business Lawyers where she was a partner in the workplace law team.

"Siobhan will add depth and expertise to the team, particularly in the infrastructure, energy and transport headlights," said national head of the OHSS practice, Michael Tooma.

"We are also delighted with the feedback we have had from clients on this appointment. A number of clients such as John Holland have decided to follow Siobhan and continue their relationship with her which is a strong vote of confidence in her decision."

Flores-Walsh brings over 20 years experience gained in top-tier law firms and in-house. She was previously with Shell Oil and was formerly the ABC's industrial relations manager.
