Colin Biggers and Paisley (CBP) has made four additions to its insurance practice.

Formerly the national claims manager for professional liability claims at QBE Insurance, Ava Bentley has joined the team as special counsel.

Adrian Lewis also joins CBP as a senior associate from a leading Queensland insurance firm. He specialises in professional indemnity and directors' and officers' liability claims, specialising in claims involving engineers, architects, accountants and legal practitioners.

Solicitor Helen Tieu has joined the insurance team with a strong underwriting background gained in her former role at Catlin Group - a specialist property and casualty insurer and reinsurer.

Former broker Marc Chiarella joined the team and brings ten years' experience placing risk to local and London insurers, including management roles within a leading broking firm and underwriting agency.
