Brisbane-based HopgoodGanim Lawyers has appointed Joshua Doig to its resources and energy team.

Doig joins the firm from Calgary, Canada, where he advised energy and resources companies on a range of commercial legal issues.

At HopgoodGanim, Doig will advise on all aspects of energy and resources law and will specialise in corporate advisory and M&A advice for resources companies.

His experience includes negotiating and drafting joint venture and partnership agreements, construction and general commercial contracts and acquisition agreements.
