Freehills will begin 2011 with two new partners following the promotion of senior associates Julian Lincoln and Phillip McMahon to partnership level, effective 1 January 2011.

Working in the firm's corporate practice, Lincoln is focused on technology, outsourcing and intellectual property, while McMahon is a banking and finance lawyer servicing the rapidly growing Queensland banking market.

The two promotions come significantly earlier than the firm's traditional mid-year partner appointments.
