Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has grown its partnership with the promotion of managed funds and venture capital expert Jeremy Muir to partner.

As a member of the firm's banking and financial services team in Auckland, Muir undertakes a broad range of work focusing on managed funds, financial services regulation, securities law and alternative assets (private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and property investment).

Muir began his career with the firm in 1997 before joining global offshore firm Ogier to practice international financial law in Guernsey and the Cayman Islands. He returned to Minter Ellison Rudd Watts as a senior associate in 2005.
