Brisbane firm Barry.Nilsson Lawyers has recruited a senior associate and two solicitors, including one from international firm Norton Rose.
Bruce Ballment joins the firm's insurance and health team as a solicitor from Norton Rose, bringing more than 15 years of experience.
Ballment has been involved in both plaintiff and defendant personal injuries and motor vehicle claims, public and product liability claims for both large insurers and the self-insured and WorkCover claims.
Also joining the firm's insurance and health team as a solicitor is Amber Quickenden.
Previously at national firm Moray & Agnew, Quickenden has broad insurance law experience which has been developed in both plaintiff and defendant firms in the areas of CTP, medical negligence and personal injuries.
Christine Zarb joins the firm's family law team from Victorian firm Taussig Cherrie Fildes as a senior associate.
Zarb's career spans more than 14 years with experience in parenting matters, relocation cases, de facto property disputes and spousal, de facto and child and adult maintenance matters.
In particular, she has expertise in managing complex financial matters that involve business and property valuations, company and trust structures and self-managed superannuation funds.
