Gilbert and Tobin has appointed 11 partners, including several from Blakiston & Crabb, to establish its new Perth office.
The appointments raise the firm's partnership to 66, with three based in Sydney and eight in Perth.
There were four internal partnership appointments, namely Racael Bassil and Andrew Cook to the firm's corporate advisory group, and Andre Floro and Tim O'Leary to the litigation group.
In Perth, Michael Blakiston, Claire Boyd, Anthony Burton and David Martino will be part of G + T's new energy and resources group, while Julie Athanasoff and Marcello Cardaci join the firm's corporate advisory group.
Blakiston & Crabb, one of Perth's leading specialist resources firms, announced its integration with G + T in May this year.
Blakiston & Crabb (now sitting under the G + T banner) had seven partners and 24 lawyers across energy and resources, M&A, corporate governance and litigation working in Australia, China and Africa.
"The establishment of a Perth office will strengthen our capacity to provide services to the energy & resources market in Australia and internationally," said Danny Gilbert, managing partner of G + T.
