Insurance law firm Gilchrist Connell has appointed two senior principals to its Adelaide office.
John Homburg, an accredited mediator and member of the Ethics Health Advisory Council established under the South Australian Health Care Act, joins the firm with expertise in medical insurance and medical malpractice claims.
Phillip Lawson joins the firm as a consultant with expertise in insurance law negotiation and litigation.
"The two appointments will expand the firm's capability in medical malpractice and general insurance law," said Richard Wood, Gilchrist Connell's managing principal.
"John was part of our team pre-Gilchrist Connell and his 30-odd years in the field further broadens our delivery of professional defence services. Phil arrives at our firm with 40 years at the forefront of insurance law and will be well known to our existing clients," said Wood.
The two appointments bring Gilchrist Connell's principal count to six.
