Clifford Chance has poached former Henry Davis York partner Nick Dunstone to join its Hong Kong office.
Dunstone, who has over 14 years experience specialising in distressed debt investment and restructuring, will joins the firm's Asia Pacific restructuring and special situations practice.
Dunstone's appointment follows Asia Pacific practice leader Scott Bache's relocation to Clifford Chance's Sydney offices.
"Over the last three years, our strategy has been to expand our best practices in the region, adding depth and breadth to areas that matter to our clients," said Asia Pacific managing partner Peter Charlton.
"Nick's appointment continues that trend, and will help our restructuring and special situations team grow ."
Dunstone, a graduate of the University of Adelaide in psychology and law, was previously employed as an associate with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from 1998 to 2002, and prior to that worked in the Federal Court of Australia.
