Adelaide firm Cowell Clarke today (24 November) announced the appointment of Paul Bradley as special counsel.
Bradley, a senior corporate and commercial lawyer and former special counsel at Finlaysons Lawyers, has been tasked with further developing Cowell Clarke's energy and resources practice.
He has expertise in the energy and resources sector both across Australia and overseas. Prior to joining Finlaysons, Bradley spent seven years working as a corporate lawyer in London. He also worked at Scottish firm Maclay, Murray & Spens LLP and was involved in high quality corporate transactional work, including specialist advice on corporate restructuring, M&As and disposals, institutional investment and joint ventures.
His work in the resources sector also benefits from his having previously lived and worked in China, and his ability to speak conversational Mandarin.
Cowell Clarke CEO Paul Bilney said that as Australia and South Australia's mining boom grows, the firm wants to ensure its clients are "well positioned" to take advantage of the opportunities and challenges.
