MacGillivrays hires former telco GC
MacGillivrays Solicitors has hired former Primus Telecom general counsel Gerald Miller in its Melbourne office.

Joining the firm after over three years as a partner of Melbourne-based firm Browne & Co and ten years as general counsel with the Primus, Miller has joined the partnership of MacGillivrays in its corporate and business services group.
Miller gained experience in commercial leasing law through a general counsel assignment to Essendon Airport and Essendon Fields in 2011 and 2012. He is trained to deal with ever-changing technologies and how they affect businesses generally.
MacGillivrays also appointed senior associate Richard Ashley to its litigation and dispute resolution services group.
Ashley has 15 years’ experience in commercial litigation and insolvency.
His clients include financial institutions, small to medium businesses, receivers, liquidators, corporate administrators and trustees of bankrupt estates.
Ashley has conducted general commercial litigation, insolvency, dispute resolution, trade practices disputes, debt recovery and credit management matters in both state and federal jurisdictions and has advised on personal and corporate insolvency matters.
