WOLLONGONG’S LARGEST legal firm is using its own success in achieving the ISO 9001 standard for internal processes and policies to assist other law firms do the same.

 
 

Seven Sydney law firms have worked with Kells The Lawyers to obtain accreditation in ISO 9001 or Law 9000, the Australian management benchmark system for legal practices. Executive officer Graham Le Roux, the founding director of Quality in Law, was involved in establishing the new Law 9000 standards. He said the firm was delighted to assist other law firms tackle the accreditation process because of the benefits he sees in it.

“There is no doubt that the preparation and rigorous auditing processes involved in ISO accreditation has been of great benefit to Kells and the other firms that we have been working with,” Le Roux added.
