DLA Phillips Fox has joined the likes of Westpac and KPMG in committing to work with Reconciliation Australia to help close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
The RAP will put into writing the firm's commitment and contribution to the national effort to close the 17-year life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
The firm's RAP, once finalised, will be reviewed annually by both Reconciliation Australia and the firm to assess its effectiveness.
Those steering the firm's plan include partner Andrew Forbes, consultant Andrew Fairley, pro bono partner Nicolas Patrick, special counsel Louise Nixon and community investment manager Michelle Milnes.
