Wei Lim is joining the firm’s Brisbane office from ANZ Bank, where he was an associate director in the loan structuring and execution team.

Mr Lim had previously gained private practice experience from stints at DLA Piper in Hong Kong, MinterEllison in Australia, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer while in London.

McCullough Robertson’s managing partner Kristen Podagiel said Mr Lim’s appointment reflects and supports the firm’s growth in banking and finance practice areas.

“Wei is a fantastic addition to our team, bolstering our capacity to meet increasing client demand,” she said.

“Wei brings with him a strong background in corporate and institutional property financing, as well as debt capital market transactions and project finance experience from his time working in Hong Kong,” Ms Podagiel continued.

“Wei’s international private practice experience and in-house experience at ANZ will ensure that he can provide practical and commercial advice to our clients in a broad range of industries including real estate, international trade, mining and resources, infrastructure, agribusiness, manufacturing, and tourism,” she considered.
