Macpherson Kelley nabs CIO heavyweight
Macpherson Kelley has appointed a new chief information officer who, it said, will drive the firm’s continuing innovation in technology.
Andrew Mitchell has been announced in the role, joining the firm from Xenith IP, where he was chief information officer and operations manager.

Mr Mitchell has also held roles as chief information officer and director of national operations at Griffith Hack, chief information officer at Gilbert + Tobin and director of technology and innovation at Lander & Rogers.
According to Macpherson Kelley, the IT leader was named among the top 50 chief information officers in CIO magazine back in 2016.
Commenting on the appointment, Macpherson Kelley chief executive officer Steve Parker called the new appointment “an outstanding leader who has led major IT transformations for law firm and industrial companies in Australia and overseas”.
“Andrew will drive our continuing innovation in technology to ensure our teams are working effectively and efficiently and delivering for clients,” Mr Parker continued.
