VIJAY CUGATI will be rejoining Allens Arthur Robinson as a partner in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions team in Sydney.

Cugati first joined Allens as a summer clerk and moved up the ranks to senior associate, before leaving in 2005 to take up a position with Slaughter & May in London as part of the firm’s “best friends” relationship.

At Slaughter & May, Cugati worked closely with corporate partner Nigel Boardman on a range of global transactions for clients including General Electric, healthcare company BUPA and handling and storage logistics provider Brambles.
