Colin Biggers & Paisley and Gilbert + Tobin have advised on a transaction that saw Bartlett's Environmental Group sold to Total Drain Group.

Deal: Backed by Quadrant Private Energy, Total Drain Group has acquired Bartlett's Environmental Group.

Key players: The legal team advising Barlett's Environmental Group was led by Colin Biggers & Paisley corporate partner Toby Norgate, with assistance from Natasha Messing, Henry Shaw and Ema Stefanovic.

As per a statement provided by Colin Biggers & Paisley, Seamus Gunson and Paul O'Halloran assisted with property and employment issues.

The purchaser group was advised by Rachael Bassil, Matt Edstein, Rohan Barmanray and Michelle Lee of Gilbert + Tobin, the firm noted.

Deal significance: According to Colin Biggers & Paisley, the deal creates a combined Victoria and NSW leading stormwater management and liquid waste recycling business earning more than $30 million a year.
