Landers & Rogers has hired family lawyer Laura Wainwright. Ms Wainwright was an associate to Judge Paul Anthony Howard in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia before qualifying as a solicitor, and joins Lander & Rogers from a boutique Brisbane-based firm.

Ms Wainwright combines family law experience with an in-depth understanding of court rules and procedures and how to navigate clients through what can be a complex and stressful process.

“Lander & Rogers takes a fresh, collaborative approach to family law, which I’m excited to be a part of, as well as working with my Brisbane colleagues. I look forward to tapping into the networks and experience of our wider national team,” said Ms Wainwright.

“Laura is a motivated, dedicated and compassionate lawyer, and a wonderful addition to our team. She joins us at an exciting time – in the last year weve consolidated our position in the Brisbane market, built a thriving pro bono program and are looking forward to more growth in 2021,” said Lander & Rogers partner Genevieve Dee.

Lander & Rogers launched into Brisbane’s family law market in January 2020. The firm has had a well-established family law practice in Melbourne for over 30 years and in Sydney since 2016.

“Our rapid expansion in Brisbane is a testament to the energy, enthusiasm and skill of our talented lawyers. I’m incredibly proud of the depth of experience and quality of service we are able to offer both national and international clients as a dynamic growing team,” said Mark Parker, national practice group leader of Lander & Rogers’ family and relationship law group.
