Meanwhile, the following have been promoted to senior associate roles: John Birrell (litigation), Rob Deev (property and development), Caitlin Edwards (public interest), Jessica Elliott (litigation), Simone Gould (corporate and M&A), Alexandra Harrison-Ichlov (litigation), Andrew Low (property and development),  Genevieve Pope (banking and finance), Claire Southwell (competition), and Luise Squire (banking and finance).

“This year’s appointments recognise the consistently excellent service these lawyers have provided to clients throughout their time at Arnold Bloch Leibler, said ABL senior partner Mark Leibler AC.

“The firm prides itself on offering lawyers the opportunity to advance and thrive as individuals, and these career milestones are a measure of how successfully our new appointees have responded.”

Commenting further, ABL managing partner Henry Lanzer AM said that each of the appointees had already made a considerable contribution to the firm.

“These lawyers have owned our point of difference in the market and are making it their own as they advance in their careers. The inter-generational collaboration we encourage as a firm has become a significant aspect of our strength,” he said.
