CHELSEA LI has been appointed to Gray & Perkins’ Beijing office.

Li has more than eight years experience in Chinese telecommunications and information technology law, as well as broader experience in licensing, commercial transactions and regulatory work.

She has experience working both in private practice and in-house, and has advised multinational companies such as China Mobile and China Netcom, as well as a range of other companies with subsidiaries in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

While working in-house she was involved on a variety of major projects and complex telecommunications/information technology projects, including engineering/operation system upgrades and services, submarine cable network constructions, upgrade and maintenance, telecommunications cable landing stations, point-to-point telecommunications services and collocation services.

Li’s appointment will further boost Gray & Perkin’s capacity to handle the new wave of China mergers and acquisitions work coming into the firm.
