The firm has appointed Nicky Neville-Jones as special counsel and Susan Foote as senior associate.

Ms Neville-Jones, who is based in Melbourne, is a LIV-accredited family law specialist and currently serves as chair of the executive of the body’s family law section.

Throughout her decade spent practising, Ms Neville-Jones has covered all aspects of family law, including property matters involving trusts and companies, parenting matters where there are allegations of risk or relocation disputes, binding financial agreements, child support matters and matters where there are allegations of family violence.

Similar to Ms Neville-Jones, Sydney-based Ms Foote holds an impressive practice that also covers the full extent of family law matters.

Ms Foote’s career has seen her advise on property matters, including those dealing with businesses, companies and overseas assets; and advise in parenting matters, including relocation, child abuse and sexual abuse acting on spouse maintenance applications. She’s appeared in both the Family and Federal Circuit Courts of Australia.

“The addition of high calibre senior solicitors in both our Sydney and Melbourne offices shows the continued growth of the family law team and private client services more broadly at Russell Kennedy,” said Russell Kennedy family law team leader Amy Jenkins.

“The appointment of both Nicky and Susan provides further capability and enables us to continue to provide top quality service to our clients.”

Commenting on her new role, Ms Neville-Jones said: “I am delighted to have joined Russell Kennedy. It is exciting to be part of a high calibre firm committed to growing its family law team.”
