Key players: Principal Nick Miller oversaw the sale. Mr Miller was supported on the transaction by senior associate Nicole Butler and lawyer Michael Timlin. The team also worked closely with Steve Aitchison (principal, property), Peter Huang (lawyer, property), David Thompson (principal, employment and workplace relations), Richard Scougall (special counsel, employment and workplace relations), Neville Debney (principal, litigation and dispute resolution) and Helen Hodgins (lawyer, litigation and dispute resolution) across the transaction.

Deal significance: The deal will strengthen DHL’s position in the evolving Australian road freight market and create one of the largest logistics companies in the country with a combined revenue of over $1 billion.

Principal Nick Miller recognised the challenges facing the sale of a national business to a global multinational one. He said that “we’re pleased to have supported Glen, Denis, Craig and the team on the sale of this iconic business. The Glen Cameron Group have been a valued client of Hunt & Hunt for a long time and we are proud to be a part of its growth and success in the transport industry.”
