Colin Biggers & Paisley has welcomed a new senior associate to its Brisbane office.

The firm has hired Madonna Galeano as its newest senior associate. Ms Galeano will be based in Colin Biggers & Paisley’s Brisbane-based employment and safety team in her new role.

Ms Galeano brings over seven years of experience in employment law and industrial relations to Colin Biggers & Paisley, having provided advice and conducting litigation in relation to all facets of the employment lifecycle.

Ms Galeano has worked in both private practice and in the in-house space throughout her career. According to her LinkedIn profile, prior to Colin Biggers & Paisley, she worked at Thiess as an employee relations specialist. Before this, she was an associate at Peters Bosel Lawyers..

Colin Biggers & Paisley employment and safety partner Megan Kavanagh congratulated Ms Galeano on her new role, noting her broad and diverse experience will be of great value to the firm.

“Madonna not only has extensive knowledge of the Australian industrial relations framework, her work within the corporate sector and private practice gives her a deeper understanding of client relationships and the importance of providing realistic and commercial advice. We are delighted to welcome her to the team,” Ms Kavanagh said.

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.
