Tim Wright (pictured) has joined Attwood Marshall Lawyers, bringing his “enviable understanding of the machinations of the building and construction industry and has obtained significant experience in the field of building and construction litigation since his admission to the legal profession in 2018”.

Mr Wright was previously a tradesman himself, having operated a plumbing business prior to becoming a lawyer, the firm said in a statement.

He has also worked at Russells Law in Brisbane and at Mills Oakley in its Sydney office.

Mr Wright will be based at Attwood Marshall Lawyers’ Coolangatta office.

Speaking about the appointment, Attwood Marshall partner Charles Lethbridge said: “Tim’s addition to the department is a response by the firm to increased demand in the building and construction disputes sector.

“Attwood Marshall Lawyers has a proud history of acting for builders, tradesmen and contractors, and with Tim on board, we are even better resourced to tackle the increasing number of matters in this space.

“With multiple specialist construction litigation lawyers, and a strong understanding of the legal options available to its clients, Attwood Marshall Lawyers is one of the leading firms on the eastern seaboard operating in this field.”
