Catton & Tondelstrand hires new senior associate
Sunshine Coast-based family law firm Catton & Tondelstrand has welcomed a senior associate from Victoria to help grow its team.
When Nicole Cavallaro (pictured) reached out late last year to Catton & Tondelstrand directors Liz Catton and Angela Tondelstrand, on the hunt for a sea change, the pair knew that she would be a perfect fit for their practice.
“We are fortunate to have secured someone with Nicole’s experience and skill set, and this will further enhance the services we provide our clients.”
Ms Catton added: “We pride ourselves on delivering quality advice and outcomes for our clients based on our many years of experience, and we have found that this has contributed to our reputation, which in turn makes us an employer of choice by potential applicants.”
In a firm statement, Ms Cavallaro said that the move to the Sunshine Coast from the Goulburn Valley in Victoria was a decision that she did not take lightly.
“Like a lot of people, the two years of COVID-related lockdowns made me reassess where I wanted to be, and I realised that I wanted more of a work/life balance,” she explained.
“I wanted to be able to enjoy the Sunshine but still practice at a high level at a firm where my years of experience could be utilised, so when this opportunity came up, I knew the timing was right to make the change.
“The Sunshine Coast is a growing region with so much opportunity, and to have relocated here to work with such a great team has been the right timing for me.”
