Andrea Joyce is being promoted to partner, and Blake Fowler is taking up the role of general manager as the firm moves to continue its growth following the establishment of two new offices located in Brisbane and the Northern Rivers.

Ms Joyce has been with the firm since July 2021, Twomey said in a statement, and has more than 10 years’ worth of experience, particularly in litigation and insolvency.

Mr Fowler is joining Twomey Dispute Lawyers and brings, the firm said, “a wealth of knowledge and experience as a former GM at one of the largest direct mail marketing companies in Australia”.

Director Ben Twomey said that the firm is thrilled to promote Ms Joyce as well as welcome Mr Fowler to the company’s rapidly growing team.

“We are looking forward to building on our success, and I’m confident appointments such as these will help drive growth and propel the business in the right direction,” he said.

“Since joining the team, Ms Joyce has proven why our clients love her and the other side fears her.”

“Mr Fowler is very adept at keeping the wheels of the firm turning, so our lawyers can focus on providing excellent service and ensure a five-star experience from start to finish.”

Ms Joyce added that she is thrilled to have been introduced to a different kind of law practice and to have been promoted to partner.

“I am very proud of the firm and the phenomenal team who are truly a dream to work alongside every day,” she said.

The firm also welcomed two new team members to their Brisbane office, associate Eliza Walker and senior associate Andrew Suffern, bringing its total workforce to 17 employees.
