The firm proclaimed that Mr Ireland “is an accomplished construction lawyer with a broad range of front-end, project delivery and back-end construction law experience”.

Mr Ireland graduated from the University of Newcastle with a bachelor of law (honours) and a bachelor of commerce, where he impressively achieved the highest grade in his commercial dispute resolution class.

In an aim to differentiate itself from its competitors, the Sydney-based firm prides itself on “strategically choosing its talent to include lawyers who have real construction and engineering experience”, which it said Mr Ireland fits.

He has worked as a clerk for the Public Defenders NSW and then transitioned to Morrissey Law + Advisory, where he served as a lawyer and senior associate. Then, he was briefly employed as a contracts manager at the civil infrastructure and engineering company Haslin Constructions.

The firm stated that this experience has allowed Mr Ireland to “acquire widespread knowledge and significant industry insight”, in which he applies this understanding “with his strong technical expertise to optimise his client’s commercial goals and legal outcomes”.

The firm revealed that Mr Ireland’s appointment “follows a series of senior promotions and hires at Kreisson in late 2023, including the elevation of Anish Wilson to associate director and Richard Kouchoo’s appointment as special counsel.
