Thomson Lawyers has announced a number of promotions, including two partner appointments and eight senior associate appointments.

New disputes partners Ramanan Rajendran and Wayne Morphett (pictured) are both based in the Melbourne office, while the senior associate appointments include two in corporate, three in disputes and three in the property and development teams across the firm's four offices.

"Our focus is very much about recognising and rewarding the pool of talent we have within the firm and these appointments reinforce our commitment to sustainable organic growth," said Thomsons' chief executive partner Adrian Tembel

The promotions saw the firm commence the new financial year with a record number of partners (58) and senior associates (51).
